Protect Her (Safety & Advocacy)

Women and girls deserve to be protected from the menace of gender-based violence, hence the need for a collective effort targeted at limiting the abuse of girls and women. Protect HER bridges the information and skills gap that is evidently common among girls and women in vulnerable communities by providing preventive training measures to stop or limit violence against women and girls. Protect Her is a volunteer and community-based initiative aimed at creating awareness across vulnerable communities, schools, and individuals by educating and empowering them through life skills and self-defense training to enhance their ability to defend themselves from abuse, including rape, trafficking, modern-day slavery, or gender-based violence. The initiative offers self-defense skills, immersive online and classroom training, counseling support, and referral services to prevent abuse and support survivors of rape.
